wow! when i logged onto the internet and went to my gmail inbox to check my email i was certain that it would be full (as usual) of the same daily email blasts that i seem to receive each-and-every-day (mostly because i have yet to take the time to request that my email address be removed from a host of unnecessary mailing lists from a handful of equally unnecessary websites and over-zealous promoters . . . so i must cop to a bit of the responsibility for the perpetually mundane messages!)
today however, amongst the 953 messages cluttering my inbox, there was a single message that quite literally seemed to jump off of my laptop’s LCD screen and capture my attention . . . . the message was announcing the October 12th date for FINK @ Brick & Mortar in San Francisco, California, USA . . . .
what happened next is still very much a mystery to all of those who were present & involved (which if we are being absolutely honest, was really just me!) . . . but regardless of who was or wasn’t there to witness it; all i know is that 9-minutes later i had a pair of tickets to the October 12th show in San Francisco in my hands and a HUGE smile was smeared haphazardly all over my face!
FINK live in San Francisco is something that i have been hoping for for what feels like forever and i am so absolutely grateful that you’ve picked San Francisco to be one of the stops on your 13-date tour of the States & Canada – - – thank you so very, very much guys! i will be counting down the days, you can bet on that.

p.s. while you are in San Francisco i’d be thrilled to host you at my restaurant in downtown San Francisco . . . i am the executive chef @ San Francisco’s most well-known French-Vietnamese restaurant, Le Colonial . . . so if you are interested in checking us out for a quick bite to eat before the show on Friday night, please don’t hesitate to let me know and i will gladly take care of the arrangements for you…..
